Additional storage space can be purchased for any Apple ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>iCloud syncs files between the device and cloud storage and therefore a file deleted locally is also deleted on the cloud \/\/ see the difference between Backup and Sync (Cloudpap provides Backup and therefore a file deleted on the device can be recovered from the cloud )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps for backing up on iCloud:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get the device connected to a WiFi Network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on <strong>Settings &gt; [your name]<\/strong>, and tap&nbsp;<strong>iCloud <\/strong>on the device.&nbsp;If you\u2019re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings, then scroll down and tap iCloud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down, and tap&nbsp;<strong>iCloud Backup<\/strong>.&nbsp;If you&#8217;re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Backup. Make sure that&nbsp;<strong>iCloud Backup<\/strong>&nbsp;is turned on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap&nbsp;<strong>Back Up Now<\/strong>&nbsp;and stay connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process completes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure that the backup is finished: Tap&nbsp;<strong>Settings &gt; [your name] &gt; iCloud &gt; iCloud Storage &gt; Manage Storage<\/strong>, then select the device \u2014 the backup should appear in the details with the time and backup size.
