OpenStack Object Storage / Swift

It’s hard to talk about Object Storage without mentioning OpenStack Swift. OpenStack Swift is a cloud storage service provided the ‘Open source Cloud Operating System’ OpenStack. It’s a S3 compliant object storage service uses a simple API to store, retrieve data or objects. The API allow OpenStack Swift to scale fast, high availability across multiple data sets and therefore ideal for application dealing with bulk data in multiple remote sites e.g. a CDN Platform.
